I will be graduating in the Spring of 08, and am starting to get ready for the recruiting season. While searching for FT positions, is it correct to apply for them now? For example, I have come across a few postings already for FT positions at smaller banks, but if I apply now, are they expecting me to be able to work asap? Or are they aware that I will be available to work in the Spring. I am assuming BB's know the FT offers are for upcoming graduates, but is it the same for the smaller banks? Thanks for the help

generally there are recruiting cycles. Now is when the BB's start reaching out for their accelerated interview programs for kids who already interned this past summer. Most of the stuff listed right now deals with starting this fall, I would assume. Are you at a target? If not, I would start by going to the bank websites and checking them out.
