FT Recruiting, No dealflow during SA

Hello.

Currently at a MM for SA. Wish I knew before I signed my offer that my MM would have extremely low dealflow right now. How big of an issue will this be during FT interviews? Otherwise a fine candidate with regard to school, GPA, and interview questions. Do I take it on the chest and name it as one of the reasons I'm trying to leave? Do I try to skirt the topic by talking about the pitches that I was on instead?
