Full-time analysts: Different start dates
Starting at a boutique bank at the end of July and realized the firm has another full-time analyst signed for this class but they are just starting now (1 month before). Is this a bad sign? I gave them no availability and said I could start ASAP - Does this mean they believe I am a weaker analyst off the gun?
No don’t overthink it, likely some sort of internal HR process driving the different timelines. You can also just shoot HR a note asking about the start date, doesn’t hurt
