Full-time Interview at Evercore - Any advice?

Hi folks, I have heard that EB interviews tend to be far more technical than BB or MM interviews. If you have interviewed and successfully landed an offer at an EB or BB, how did you prepare for the technical portion of the interview? Not talking necessarily about deal experience questions, but actual technicals. Is there anything I can do past looking at Breaking Into Wall Street Technical guides? Thanks for any suggestions.

Unless OP is prepping for the RX group, Moyer would be pretty useless. I personally think BIWS is sufficient even for the most technical interviews. Don't use the old 400Q one but the newer, more comprehensive guides that are divided into multiple sections (Accounting, DCF, etc.). You'll find all the concept/interview questions that you need to be prepared for, assuming you're able to dig all the way into the advanced section.

I've heard of RX-type questions being asked, even for M&A roles. This is for PJT so I can't speak for Evercore. But better to be safe than sorry if you have the time.

I only used the BIWS and 400 questions to prep for my SA interviews at EBs. I didn't find the questions asked in the interviews very complex if you understood the reasoning behind the concepts instead of just repeating facts. Even in the interviews they were understanding if you needed help during a question as long as you could demonstrate you understood the concept but were having a bit of trouble applying it to the trick.
