tldr:  no, you can’t do both and be successful in both. IMHO.

Depends what you mean by RE agent. It’s a field that gets shit on stereotypically (and a lot of that is true) but by my observation the ones that are legitimately successful bust ass and it’s a 24/7/365 job. It may not require the sophisticated skill set that IB does but it does require similar sales/interpersonal skills as well as the client responsiveness.

FWIW, I am licensed and work in IB but I did it to represent myself and family members on investment properties. I still hired a credible agent to sell my last house and her network drove value for me that I never could have gotten myself because I don’t have the time or the network to make this a full time job.

Highly doubt it just based on the time constraints. You need to be able to put on and go to a lot of open houses as a realtor and IB hours are going to make that next to impossible. I find it hard to get 15 minutes to grab coffee some days, let alone disappearing for hours to run an open house. IB isn't really doable from a laptop either unless you're in a real pinch, you need a couple screens, so it's not like you can hang out with your computer.

IMO if you want to do RE on the side, get a chiller corp finance job - esp one that is remote
