Full time MF Analyst Recruiting

Coming from a target and going to a top bank in the top group this summer for junior SA and interested in FT recruiting for a MF analyst role. Couldn’t find a lot of info on the timeline and how to approach the process. Wondering if anyone could kindly share any insight on when to start networking (if necessary) and what the selection process is going to look like (what to focus on when prepping for interviews) or just any helpful information? Many thanks in advance!

You won't find an FT spot at an MF. They barely even hire from their SA class.

Also why don’t you focus on what you want instead of what you read online. You focus too much on what others think about you. You haven’t even experienced a second in banking and you’re trying to go for an MF PE spot when you know literally nothing about anything.

My school consistently has people getting FT MF spots every year. If I thought it was very easy or straight up impossible, I wouldn't post this to seek info and insight. It's confusing and amusing to see you assume what I read online or how much I care about what others think about me. None of that was even in my thought process so I'm guessing you are just projecting yourself here. I've finished three banking internships up to this point and been on 3 live deals and many pitches. Wouldn't say I know literally nothing about anything but definitely know what I'm interested in learning and doing in the longer term. I'm sorry that life isn't panning out well for you so you have to dole out baseless negativity on a forum built to help each other in the community.
