Full-time OCR Recruiting - HK BBs

I am inquiring about the timeline for full-time OCR recruiting for HK BBs, mainly GS/MS/JPM. Do they historically come to campus for target schools in the U.S. to recruit most of its remaining full-time class or do they mainly fill the full-time class from the summer interns at other leading investment banks in Hong Kong?

Furthermore, how easy it is to intern in the new york office for summer at a BB and then transfer to the hong kong office for full-time at higher ranked BB? Can you accelerate the process somehow because I think you will receive return offer from a NYC BB in early August or so, but you might not be able to hear back from the higher ranked BB until a month later or so. Any input would be appreciated.
