Fundamental Query

Hi there experts,

I worked in core banking domain for nearly 5 years and recently moved from Core Banking to Investment Banking.

Could any of you please help me with the below queries:

a) What is the general hierarchy of an investment banking division? b) Where does capital markets fit in this? c) Are capital markets (Equity and Debt) different divisions and they speak with Investment Banking division to do business or these fall under Investment Banking division?

Pardon me for asking very basic questions.

Thanks in advance for the response.
