Curious to see what people in the industry think of C/R coverage groups. What are the pros / cons of entering C/R as opposed to other industry groups? Road ahead for the industry given increasingly e-commerce based platforms, brick & mortar struggles, etc.? Strongest groups on the street?
Asking as an incoming intern at an EB in NYC. Interested to know if the industry has growing / shrinking white-space for M&A, or if bookrunning / underwriting is the future (better suited for BBs, not as much EBs).
