When you are asked to write a briefing note concerning a company (possible acquisition target) in a sector for which you don't have much prior knowledge, how do you go about it as an analyst

You research it however you can. If you know someone in that space who can explain it to you great. If you already have some written materials on it that you can catch up on also good. Then there is like mentioned above resources on the internet/computer that can hopefully help like google, other research, YouTube, etc.
