You research it however you can. If you know someone in that space who can explain it to you great. If you already have some written materials on it that you can catch up on also good. Then there is like mentioned above resources on the internet/computer that can hopefully help like google, other research, YouTube, etc.

By the way, I had the impression that "10k" (finance record) is an exclusively American category. Is that name used in the UK (I'm wondering because this thread is on the WSO UK page)
