What has this guy been up to? Is he still employed at BofA? How’s the groups culture?
Haven’t seen hardly anything on him since all of the fallout earlier this year

Total disgrace to how he treated our country’s veterans. These brave men and women fought to defend our country and he showed no remorse to the sacrifices they made. Hopefully clients recognized that

There was a re-shuffling in the FIG team where the (more profitable) fintech arm was moved to TMT. Some saw this as a retaliation against Howe… unclear on what the real motivation was. BofA doesn’t fire anyone so they could be trying to show him the door via paying meager bonuses and stripping away his resources.
Gary is still around along with Brian Asher who is the Managing Director responsible for the tragic UMB deal. They probably get paid millions. Lots of juniors continue to leave FIG, one guy left to join my team and his stories are something. Screwed up place. BofA has changed policies on my team and other industry / product areas.
WOW…they promoted the MD running the UMB transaction at B OF A Brian Archer to a senior role running FIG team now with Howe
Anybody else hear if anything has changed other than promotions for all?
