GE Capital Leveraged Finance

Hi guys!

any thoughts/info on GE Capital Leveraged Finance team in London?

I am wondering primarily how the work/culture/comp compares to bigger/more reputable mid-market lenders, such as Blackstone, Apollo, Babson, Ares or Pramerica? I understand that they work with a lot of large PE firms on sponsor-led transactions but not sure how they are perceived on the street and if the compensation is in line with industry or below (and if so, by how much)

Also, what do people tend to do afterwards, i.e. move to another leveraged finance lender, PE or something else?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!

GSO capital (part of Blackstone) is one of the largest (if not the largest) credit AM

Don't believe they participate in Senior though.

"The solutions we offer are often not available elsewhere in the credit markets, and draw upon a range of non-investment grade disciplines such as leveraged loans, high yield bonds, distressed debt, mezzanine lending and rescue financing"
