General Banking Advice Please

Hello,

Recently my family changed bank and our new wealth manager asked for me to send him my CV and a cover letter, he did not say for what position or give many details, but he was interested in the fact that I study business and have a fair amount of international experience.

So what I am asking you all is which areas might be interesting for a student who hasn´t really considered banking that much until now? I always planned on going into consulting but an internship or job at a BB won´t do any harm. I could still change my final year modules to focus more on finance if necessary.

The areas I´m considering are: Personal Finance, International Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Investment Partners, Real Estate, Corporate Banking, Global Markets and Securities Services.

Being as though he works in Wealth Management I would assume that would be my best bet, it also looks like an interesting function. Other than WM I think Corporate Banking and Global Markets would be top notch but more difficult to get into.

In a perfect world I want to have a good salary, travel and work quite a lot (preferrably with a team but not necessarily).

If anyone can give any advice it would be much appreciated.
