Getting into Qatalyst Partners?

I'm very interested in Qatalyst Partners but, I've heard their ultra-selective with their hires. I haven't been able to find much on WSO besides one thread on their history but, was wondering if anyone had insights into what their interviews/recruiting process is like.

I am an American but, I'm living in London, so info on either their SF or UK office would be great. Thanks.

Doubtful. My contact works in SF, but they probably only take 2 (?) in London vs. ~5 to 6 in SF every year. It's going to be a matter of networking to get the interview

bugattiveyronmeh pretty standard recruiting process, final rounds in SF. Didn't seem ultra-selective when I went through it, but a strong interest in tech is a must. It's true they don't hire a lot, but the application pool is a lot smaller too since they're so niche

I think this is kind of funny since you so nonchalantly said its a standard recruiting process there are certified members on this board who would give both there nuts to get just one interview there...

Be thankful for opportunities you have...

The answer to your question is 1) network 2) get involved 3) beef up your resume 4) repeat -happypantsmcgee WSO is not your personal search function.

What firm do you work with now? Did you get a Qatalyst offer?

I don't know about other schools but they recruit fairly heavily from Wharton. They're definitely hot shit right now, but based on the people I know who were given offers, they don't really seem to be "give both nuts" caliber...

They don't recruit at Stanford...? :O
