Getting the Group You Want

I got an early offer for a top BB (MS/GS/JPM), and I am trying to start my efforts to get the group I want early. Is there anything I can do in particular to get the group I want? A day after I got my offer someone reached out to my from that group, and I am wondering what I can do right now to get a foot in. I know its early, but I figured I can get a head start on everyone else...

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Well it's definitely not MS, because whenever people try to hide what firm it is, it's never the first one they put, so that leaves GS and JPM.

GS - Goldman puts you where they want to put you, just bend over and enjoy the ride. They'll pound you for two years regardless of group.

JPM - Well they'll be bankrupted by their silver trade before you graduate anyway, so does it even matter?

Haha in all seriousness though, if you want to get into a certain group, you have to sell them on why you are the best fit for that group and why you add the most value to them in that group as opposed to another group.

Funny how a thread asking how to get the group you got turned into a which company guessing game.

Other than that, thanks for the help. I meant things to sort of improve your chances before you go meet each group... For instance I heard certain groups are dominated by alumni from certain schools - any advice on getting around this?
