Ghosted by HR. How do I follow up?
TLDR:
No response from HR after they request internship availability dates. What do I write as a follow-up email? Do I make an enquiry and further express my interest in the role?
Context:
Made an application for an internship opening at a boutique via email. The opening only mentioned 3-6 months but did not specify dates. HR responded to the email asking for availability dates to which I have responded I am available during the summer for 5 months. I have not received a response after 10 business days (2 weeks). There are 40 employees on LinkedIn for context.
The internship posting is up year-round and they recruit year-round, too, so it could be that they are not in a hurry to look for an intern. Could have innumerable explanations and cannot possibly know. Do I reach out to enquire about the opening, and if so, how?

Doesn't hurt to follow up and reiterate your interest in the position. Keep it short and don't overthink it.
