Going IB -> PE -> IB?

Was thinking about the career path that comes from doing your Associate stint after 2yrs in IB but then deciding you like advisory work more.

Anyone who has done this, how was the jump back to banking? Was it “easier” than the jump over to PE, harder, similar? How was the integration back into the banking work style. Did you go to your same bank or a new one?
