Golden Handcuffs

AN2 currently beginning to notice signs of golden handcuffs. Undecided on IB long-term, is it worth mitigating and how to do so? Context: Have began appreciating the finer things (cheesy I know) such as wine, cigars, and good trips. Have good savings habits but obviously could save more if I spent less on nicer consumables. I think have it in me to do IB for a few more years to continue making a lot of money, but also know the golden handcuff risk is really. Anyone have personal stories or seen peers experience similar things, and if so, how did it end up?
