Goldman Associate-to-VP Promotion Timeline in IB
Do MBA associates [/ analysts] get promoted after stub + 2 [/ 4] years or stub + 3 [/ 5] years? Does it happen at different rates (i.e., some associates get promoted after 2 and others after 3)?

Stub + 3 years, A2A would be 5.5 years total
Haven’t ever seen earlier than that in traditional investment banking
I've seen 4.5 years from associate to VP, and this is not including the 2 analyst years
