It’s under their consumer and wealth management division, but it’s not consumer banking. Marcus by Goldman is their consumer banking arm

 

I interned there. Was interesting a lot more with Goldman but didn't have a great experience. Very little to do, people weren't that bright. My two cents. Can’t speak to Detroit experience

 

Thanks for responding! Do you think it ultimately helped you for your resume or what is it not worth it at all? Also, do you know if the intern pay is what full-time analyst salaries are?

 

So you went through several rounds of interviews and accepted a position without ever inquiring what the position entails but figured that a bunch of anonymous monkeys on WSO would be a much better source to glean that info, after of course, you accepted the role?

You are insanely bottom bucket. You belong as a cashier somewhere that is 99% self-checkout. 

 

I was talking about day-to-day internship responsibilities when I mentioned what the position would entail and I haven’t yet accepted the role. Thanks for the helpful words though! Have a nice evening.
