Goldman Sachs Investment Banking REGAL/REGL Group

Really interested in this group, does anyone have color on the group–locations, culture, deal flow, recent deals, etc? Can't seem to find anything online

At another bank's regal group - they are all similar, strong deal flow, etc. Real estate doesn't have a bank that is the clear winner; it shifts over the years.

A lot of REIT work is also just capital raising (not much M&A recently) and the REITs just ask all of the top banks to help them capital raise (MS/JPM/GS/BOFA). You can go look at REITs and their secondary public offerings or IPOs. If you go back in time, a lot of REIT take privates or M&As probably have goldman on them. Air Communities, Duke Prologis

Hey, sorry to bother you, but I'm a student interested in REIB. Was curious if there was anything that helped you land your job. Appreciate any advice. Thank you!
