As the title suggests, I was wondering whether anyone has insights into the GS Paris office. Are there members of the EMEA FIG team based there? Also, is French required to work on that team?

Incoming GS London but have some insight
You do need to speak French for Paris IBD (this only applies to OCs and internships)
they have some EMEA FIG but very small team if I remember correctly

I believe so, yes. All non-London offices require proficiency in the local language in addition to English.
Ok thanks, I asked for confirmation because in Milan there are/were some non-Italian speakers since GS has some people within the EMEA NR team on top of the country coverage
