Goldman Sachs Sophomore IB Internship
Goldman Sachs has a summer analyst internship that they say is usually taken on by students after their second year of study. There is also no diversity requirement. The application for 2019 opens July 1, and I was wondering if anyone had any idea as to how competitive this position is?
I am a rising sophomore at a semi-target with a strong GPA and 34 ACT. I also have a private equity internship this summer and have been networking with alumni at Goldman. Would I be a good candidate for this? Any insight into the program itself or how I match up would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
First, no one cares about ACT scores. Apply and see what happens.
Is it less important than SAT? I feel like I've read on here that SAT is important for BB, but I have no idea. Is it that no one cares about ACT or just standardized test scores in general?
No one cares about either test. They care about what you did AFTER high school. Internships, organizations, your technical skills, how likable you are.
