Weirdly competitive culture at the junior level. Know for a fact that they tell the interns at the start of the summer there’s no competition but end it with giving only 50% of the interns offers. Big pipeline from SMU / TCU - base is at 110k.

LMM deals across different industries technically across the capital structure but they primarily do credit deals. Let me know if you have specific questions.

Resonate this. I super dayed with them, didn’t get the offer, but here’s what I heard from people in the group:

  1. Return offer is indeed 50%, thus creating a lot of competition among interns. When talking to people in the group it seems like the seniors are okay. No one too weird, but everyone does seem very uptight.
  1. They work on LMM credit deal, with the majority (when I was interviewing w them) dealing with restaurant business. With that said, they deal with random businesses really, any business which needs to raise debt.
  1. The group sounds like it’s sweaty. Associate casually told me that his day ends at 2 am. Analyst talked to me and yawned in every sentence.
