Career Resources
This is such a generic a question to answer. When you make a decision to join a company it's usually based on a set of experienced dynamics or instrinsic value that is not measured the same way by any two people. So it is always difficult to answer these types of Qs on the forum because the impulse is always to answer these Qs based on sheer brand name recognition or the standard "exit ops" you people always defer to. Sigh. Anyways, I shall give it a shot just for shits...
All else being equal, I'd pick an associate position at Lazard due to culture. Also, Stefan from Dresdner looks like kermit the frog. Sorry sorry, jk.
Dresdner Europe? I thought DrK closed up shop in the U.S.
if so, I wonder who will be at the U.S. office when I show up?
I'd go with the Lazard's middle market practice... DrKW had a huge shakeout last year... SF and chicago closed and 70% of their analaysts were let go.
