So far I have only had the chance to talk with around 20-25 people this summer for SA 2018. Response rates from alumni at my school have been shit this year. What is a good number of people to talk to at each firm so that they know that you are interested? Should I even bother with non alumni and should I only talk to people on the recruiting team or do other alums at the firm also have an input on the selection process? My resume is pretty solid with PE experience. Will I land interviews? Am I over stressing over recruiting or is my worry warranted. I just don't want to end recruiting season w no good offers
