Grade Decision: B or Pass?

I'm currently taking a Math class in which I may get a B. Should I take this class pass / fail, and preserve my 3.8 GPA, or should I take the hit and avoid having a "P" on my transcript? I am a Sophomore at a target school, looking to go into IB.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

Is this class required for a major/minor? Also, can you pass/fail this late in the semester? That's nice if you can lol.

Yeah, I can P/F up until the final is in my hands (tomorrow). It is for my major, but if I take the P I can retake it later and get an A easily. It's not a hard class, I just slacked off too much.

if youre bitching about getting a B, i assume all your other grades are As (who else would find a B so detestable).

5 classes, 4 As, 1 B = ~3.8

Preserved, and you dont have to retake a garbage class.
