Grand Jury

I was summoned for grand jury duty last winter, and ended up postponing. Unfortunately, just got re-summoned downtown. I feel like there is no way to avoid it this time, so will plan on attending the summons. I understand that grand jury duty is different from regular jury duty in that there’s no voir dire, so it’s very high likelihood that I’ll have to serve. Anyone been through this process recently?

I’m nervous because I am on a fairly small team so it may be hard to get coverage from another team member while I’m serving. I’m hoping my MD/staffer will be understanding and accomodating to the extent possible
