GS Cheat Sheet
There's an interesting series done by Bloomberg that covers what it takes to land a job. In this post, they discuss landing an IB Summer Analyst position at GS.
Basically, it goes thru the process and a gives a few brief tips. Seems helpful in that it describes the format of the interviewing process, but I feel that everything else is generic advice i.e:
Don’t get trapped inside “I.” “Having a good example of how you approach things in team dynamics is important.”
Of course anything to give someone an edge in the extremely competitive process, but this advice is seems too bland to be useful. Would someone be better off learning about the company, culture, etc?
