Hey Analyst 1 in IB - Ind, I'm the WSO Monkey Bot and I am sad to say, but this thread is lonely, so thought I'd post in here to try and help out. Some potential topics that might help:

More suggestions...

Hope that helps.

GS has a funky system where you apply for a skillset and then HR will bucket you into roles which they believe you are qualified for. On your GS careers page, you will notice that if/when you get a SD offer, your application page will update with a new application title (for me it was something like IBD l NYC l Coverage). At that point, your SD will be scheduled for that relevant role and any further application updates will be made on that new title.

Not boasting, but want to provide some closure. I was lucky enough to get the offer, they called on the 26th (the day after the SD). From what I understand with my conversations with HR, they are done with IBD recruitment for the time being. Good luck guys, plenty of opportunities out there.

This means they are done for all lateral recruiting for IBD? My other friend hasn't done her hirevue yet so I'm guessing it's too late to even start?
