It's GS. That alone speaks for itself
ECM is really good over there. 2020 was the first time in 18 years they were not nr.1
DCM/LevFin: I can't really tell other than this is not GS "core" strength like M&A/ECM but I guess the GS brand can still carry you quite far
Thanks for the input. Indeed, the GS brand is very strong, but I guess I was more interested in getting som intel on culture etc. of each group
A pleasure. Take this with a grain of salt as it's an outsider's perspective:
GS seems kinda sweaty across all groups but what I gathered is that the financing group is a bit more chill. Of course, there are times when certain markets go crazy and then you definitely have M&A hours.
Do you have an offer there? Only someone in that group can tell you how it really is tbh
Cheers - that is my perception as well, after speaking to a former intern. I do have an offer, and got some further info through interviews but that will obviously be biased.
