Wondering if anyone has any insights on which group holds models, appreciate any info, also wondering if there's any opinion on group ranking/culture/etc. would love a bit more emphasis on the financing side.

No financing side holds the model, at GS sector team does modelling. Also, financing overall have very little financing overall
What about teams like LevFin and structured finance?
Doesn't do modelling. At best, you might be doing some sensitivity of the operating where you take a downside case scenario
Why would someone go to GS for a financing/capital markets job lol
Literally look up league tables GS is number 1 in ECM and extremely strong in the LevFin cap markets space when m&a activity was hot.
