GS personal account management benefit- your experience
I've just started at GS (not in ib) and I have a large account, mostly an inheritance. I'm not required to hand it over, because it is in a trust - but I can if I choose. I'm not getting a lot of hard information about the managers, real fees, performance, etc. what have your experiences been with the account management for goldman employees? How responsive are the money managers, and will they handle issues other an just investments - mortgages, etc? the account is at Northern trust currently. I know that smaller accounts have been moved to fidelity. Mine is not in that size category, but I sense that is an indication that this is all just a CYA for GS and not a real benefit. I'd welcome your experiences
