Neither of these things were true in my experience… lol. Just attend the info session, have a killer school/SA combo and interviews are in May/early June SD
What would you recommend to interview prep? What kind of questions did you get?
Would you say it’s possible to get an interview if I am doing a summer at PJT in their secondaries group? It’s investment banking but not the M&A team

Absolutely possible to get from a non-top school or summer internship (the door is not closed to begin with) but obviously requires some networking and an excellent interview. But both have happened
How about from a top bank but not the best ground? E.g PJT Secondaries?
Awesome, thanks. I was just extremely skeptical at first, as taking a look at the analysts, I see a vast majority of them went to mega-targets like Wharton, MIT, Harvard, so wasn't sure if even having an top junior summer internship would help.
