GS --> Tech Boutique, am I destroying my CV?

My last internship was an off-cycle internship with GS. I will graduate in 2024 and my ambition is to gain a full-time position at a growth equity / PE / VC firm focused on tech. As I would like to learn more about the space, I am considering doing an internship at a tech-focused boutique such as GP Bullhound / Arma Partners / Torch Partners / FT Partners

Meanwhile, any of these boutiques would likely be seen as a step down from GS. Could an internship at one of the above-mentioned boutiques harm my chances of gaining a full-time position in PE / VC / Growth Equity or at a BB

I would like to work with tech. I find tech firms very interesting given the extreme productivity increases tech enables for companies, individuals, and society as a whole. The explosive growth of many tech firms also seems exciting. I've done internships in PE previously and buying some business services firm trying to raise margins from 6% to 10% by streamlining processes etc. just isn't that interesting to me.
