GS/MS/JPM Junior Comp in London

I know base salary is pretty standard between the three (70-75k£ for A1, 80-85 A2?) but I've heard MS has the smallest bonus, at least for juniors, with mid-tier A1s clearing only 20k in bonus last year. Is this true? If it is, until what seniority are they paying less?

I've also heard that GS has a min bonus equal to the extra hours you have worked policy?

Would appreciate any further insights. Thank you in advance!

Analysts at these banks get paid practically the same base worldwide (75k£ is 100k$). Adjust this to the cost of life and EU bankers are making insanely more money than US bankers (the extreme of this is EU regional offices, where they get paid the same as in London and cost of life is 60% as much)

And yes, if you wanted to be a banker all your life I see no reason to stay at JP/MS/GS, but if you wanted to exit you'll be a fool to accept any EB over any of those three

What? You're going to make 100k all in your first year, thats in pounds, which are worth 1.3 dollars

In GS and MS you'll be associate within two years, where your base will be around 120k£ (again, pounds, multiply to get to dollars, and only base, to that add the whole bonus)

So yes, youll make much more 300k in your first three years combined. Youll probably make that in your second and third year only
