Have Lateral come back?
Title said it. Just saw a pretty sad post about analyst trying to lateral. I work at a big firm with decent corpfin division, good deal flows. I know many candidates pre-Covid interview process was put back to square one. What’s the situation at your bank now for lateral IB hirings now? Thought it’s helpful to have such a thread.
No traction on any lateral processes for me right now. Our group is currently understaffed and working more hours than usual while at home but no interest in hiring right now still
