Do headhunters also recruit for investor relations / fundraising roles or corporate development roles or is that more of an apply on your own kind of thing? Couple have been reaching out but can't tell if they only place for PE

Yes Oxbridge and Selby Jennings and sometimes Pinpoint do send around corp dev jobs - only thing to be careful about is if you say you want to do corp dev, they may not take you as seriously when looking for ppl for PE, etc. and vice versa. But you can also explain if you decide to switch etc. - just something to think about though. If you want to recruit for corp dev roles you should express that though.
Edit: I think Henkel (really almost all of the head hunters) also does corp dev stuff.
