Healthcare Finance Summer Analyst at Raymond James

Monkeys-

I just received an invitation to interview for the Summer Analyst position within the Healthcare Finance group at Raymond James in NYC and had a couple questions. -The HR rep said I should expect to be there for 3-4 hours, is this typical for a first round in IB? Or is it more likely that they are just doing one round? -Has anyone interviewed or interned at Raymond James and can shed some light on the process and what type of questions I should expect?

Thanks in advance.

Can't really say for the last question, but they said that because there will probably be a lot of ther people there and you aren't first in line to be interviewed. yeah that is pretty typical

HR normally doesn't know a whole lot, some places more than others. This seems like a one time hire kind of thing. I've only gone through the process once (not at RJ), but your situation sounds similar to mine.

My bet is that they underhired for the summer and have 1-2 (more likely 1) spots to fill. So, I would treat this as a superday because no one would spend 4 hrs on a first round for an SA position, especially not with an in-office interview.

Assuming it's a superday, you're probably competing with 3-5 other kids for the spot, but they probably won't be there at the same time as you.

Hope that helped. Be sharp, and best of luck!
