Heard of them? World Capital Markets (44 Wall St.)

http://www.worldcapitalmarket.com/

Is this merchant bank legit? It seems like it would provide great exposure to the asian markets since most chinese companies are trying to go IPO in the US. My colleague told me that the companies they worked with (Clients tab) are well-established in the mainland. Their transactions however are very small.

They have "Merge & Acquisitions"???

Seems more like something based in China/Asia expanding and building a bridge to the US. I can't find anything about Triglobal Capital Holding the ceo used to be a part of. Still, I agree it might be good exposure to China, the clients in client tab aren't bad.

Pretty shady. A lot of their addresses in various "locations" are virtual. Also the work they'll make you do is likely sourcing new deals in the US working on your own "virtually", and you'll only get paid if you complete a deal. It might work for people that understand Chinese businesses already and have a lot of potential contacts here - if you're looking for junior level analysis experience I would stay away. PM me if you want to know more.

Thanks for the help. I'm trying to find a legit firm that is willing to take in an intern for 2.5 months or so. I wasn't sure if this would be worth the time.
