Help: Lack of an Alumni Book

Hello all,

I wanted to request some advice on contacting alum from my school. I know the usual method is the alumni book however there are two issues with mine.

A. The alumni book from my school has not been updated since 2005 so a good amount are not at the same firms.

B. The book lists by company and does not give any more details about their current positions (HR/IB/S&T/OPS), how would I be able to differentiate?

Any helpful advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

DId you originally get the names from your alumni book or did you cast wide net over google (i.e searching "Fordham, sales, company name" etc.)

Thanks

Don't be a bitch and put in some fucking work. Are you legitimately upset that the free list of people who will give you jobs is five years out of date? And are you so snobbish that you're not willing to talk to a trader, because God knows they know nothing? Take the above advice, it should be plenty. There are other ways of getting alumni contacts as well, but you'll probably be fine with the easy Google route.

Just google their names. You should be lucky you even have names. In the UK, it's nearly impossible to get these because of data protection laws.
