Career Resources
1) Try to get summer internship anywhere in business freshman summer
2) Diversity programs...if you qualify
3) Get involved at your university (both business and non-business programs, fraternities, socials, study abroad)
4) Take time to learn important shit about what you want to do (for example, if you're going into banking learn techs early, try to understand conceptually rather than just memorizing...trust it will help in the long-run)
5) Non-target... KEEP YOUR GPA UP
6) NETWORK NETWORK NETWORK
7) Have fun in college, you won't get these years back, that being said don't be stupid as well
I don't qualify for diversity programs. I'm planning to join investing clubs and considering rushing a social fraternity. school has quite a large party reputation, do you think a social fraternity could become that large detriment to my success?
Any networking tips?
