I need your help with a project I am working on. I am currently in high school and planning a trip to study finance and entrepreneurship in the spring. “Jonathan, was really helpful. The biggest takeaway was how to run outreach: cast a wide net now, then cut back to the firms where I get traction. Adding middle-market and Canadian banks like Harris Williams, Lincoln, and BMO was something I hadn’t thought about. I’m also changing my emails to be shorter, with a quick hook and a 15-minute ask, and I’ll end chats by asking who they’d recommend I talk to next instead of asking for a referral. Having Stifel as a fallback took some pressure off. Thanks for making it so actionable.”
