Help! need info on Shellpoint Partners (RMBS Issing arm of New Penn Financial)
Hey guys I could use your help.
I just had a meeting with my boss this morning and I he is reaching out to his buddy (head of the structured finance group at Shellpoint) to try to open the door for possible summer internship next summer. I have worked hard so he's willing to reach into any of his contacts for me. I know he has contacts at JP Morgan too. I would appreciate any information on Shell point’s prestige, culture, and compensation. It looks like Shellpoint is my most solid chance at an internship for a structured finance issuer next summer, but I think my boss can help me land an interview at JP Morgan. What do you I should do? What are the main differences between working at a smaller issuer and an issuer at a bigger firm? Is it corporate policy or deal sizes the decide compensation? Also is it easy to transfer from one of these firms to a BB? I’d appreciate any information on this topic. Thanks!
