Hi,
I'm doing some research and need to find a database of all M&A transactions that have occurred in the past 5 years for consumer goods, including health & beauty brands, food and snacks, automobiles, electronics, etc.
Does anyone know how I can find this information? Would libraries have it for free? Or could someone with access help me run a search please??

Any free databases or websites?
I can help you by giving you the excel output from bloomberg, but you kinda need to restrict the field. All the deals in consumer goods (cyclical + non cyclical) are a shitload of data (51065 deals). Of course, if that's what you want...
EDIT: you must restrict it so that it's less than 5000 deals. I forgot that the excel output is limited to that number of rows.
