HK IB Layoffs?
Heard rumors from a colleague that he somehow heard BBs are cutting headcounts in HK. Is this true? Anyone has a view for 2022 H2 and 2023 Q1 in terms of hiring trends?

Hiring is going on a freeze on equities. fixed income still hiring.
Havent heard of any cuts yet, i think its already offset by people leaving hk.
I do think hiring will go back up in 2023, really depends on covid.
