Not severe. and most HL employees wouldn't even call them layoffs. Most of us aren't even aware anything happened, think it was just one team in London and one team in another city that got cut. 

 

Tech, Business Services and Consumer in LDN hit with layoffs. BS being the most drastic with a good proportion of team cut.

Was very group dependent. 

Some groups got weak bonuses. Healthcare did not. 

I'm hearing 75% - 100% of base was mid-bucket. So mid-bucket ASO was around $150 - $200k. 

 

Horrible year. Lowest comp on the street.
VPs, the category with the highest bonuses, got 5-10k total comp less than last year (i.e. not much more than 50% of fixed salary)

Directors more or less in line with VPs.

For associates it was a bloodbath, ranging from 15% to 40/50% (and we are talking high performers here).

Overall morale is down with lots of people looking for new opportunities.
