Houlihan Lokey LA Corp Fin

Wondering what the exit opportunities are at Houlihan Lokey Corp Fin in LA for a SA. Im looking to break into BB for full time.
I am at a target school and was wondering if anyone had experience at or opinions of Houlihan Lokey LA Corp Finance SA program. Thanks.

thanks for the input. Ive heard great things about culture, experience and pay at HL and thats all really appealing, but want to make sure I get the best deal exposure possible to move around if I want. Would really appreciate any more first or second hand experience.

If you take the internship and can get a FT offer and take it, you will have opportunities to move around the MM or to MM PE. Moving up is much more difficult post-analyst. Culture is good in LA, but don't expect it to be easy. HL guys regularly work long hours, but comp is on par with the other top tier MM groups for the most part.

LA team tends to travel a bit more than Chicago or MPLS. Not sure if it b/c of the HQ influence or what, but that's what I have personally seen.

As people have said, corp fin is a sweatshop but the great culture makes up for a lot of it. Remember that Houlihan's headquartered in LA so they have three separate floors of office space. LA Investment Banking scene hasn't been doing really well in the last few years but Houlihan's still trucking along.

Almost all West Coast banks have great return rates and give return offers to nearly everyone so that's not to big of a worry.

Step one: apply Step two: if you get interview invitation, move onto step three, if not, got eat doughnuts Step three: read interview guides Step four: search bar Step five: make thread
