Houston 2023 Summer Analyst Roommate Thread

Hey all, I’ll be working in Houston as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst for 2023 and am looking for preferably 1 - 2 roommates who might be in a similar situation as me.

Preferred Locations: Downtown, Rice Military, The Heights, Midtown, Montrose

Dates: June through mid-August 2023

My Gender: Male

Budget: No more than $1,500 per person per month

Interests: Will probably be busy working most of the time, but also enjoy going out, bicycling, TV shows, traveling, sports (football / hockey / baseball), and squash. Definitely a plus if roommate(s) are sociable and can talk if not busy.

If anyone is interested, please PM or post below and we can get a discussion going.

For that kind of budget you should be plenty good to go in all those areas. Plenty to do down there, so your idea of going out, biking, sports, etc shouldn't be an issue either. I mean you can walk from Tropicana field to the Shell soccer pitch to catch two different kinds of games in the same day. Plenty of food options across the area too. I wish you and whoever touches base best of luck because I think it'll definitely be worth it. I'll go ahead and say it, just stay away from the fifth ward as best you can while you're at it.

Houston's got a lot of good spots for biking. If you like "mountain" biking, Memorial Park, Anthills, Sugarland, Cypress Creek, and Cypress Wood are all pretty fun. Best of luck with the roommate search.
