Houston IB SA 2024

Anyone have any timelines and updates on Houston IB SA 2024 processes? How hard is it to transfer from Houston IB satellite offices to NY/SF? Thinking of applying to Houston/Chicago BBs/EBs and try to transfer to NY or SF for FT. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this? I go to a top target for Houston IB (UT Austin/Rice)

They're extremely defensive about people trying to backdoor their way from Houston to NYC and are generally pretty good at sniffing people like this out. "I'm not sure if they want to be here, I don't buy the Houston story, could be a flight risk" is a key point in summer offer decisions. If you convey during the summer that you want to move to NYC you will probably get no-offered unless you're diversity.

You can do it but you would probably need to secure the FT offer and then re-recruit for NYC with offer in hand. More likely to screw yourself than anything else if you try to move within the same bank.
